Deadly Pedestrian Accidents in New Jersey

Many people in the Garden State choose to get around by traveling on foot. While a great way to travel and enjoy beautiful days, it is hardly safe. In fact, statistics show that pedestrians are over-represented in national roadway fatalities. A total of 699 people were killed on New Jersey roads in 2021. That year, 220 pedestrian fatalities were reported on the state’s roads, making up nearly 30 percent of reported roadway death in total. Pedestrians are not designed to withstand the full impact of a serious crash, and that is why it is even more important that you have a trained attorney on your side as you pursue a claim for compensation.
