Motorcycle Accidents in New Jersey

Every year, a significant number of individuals experience life-altering injuries in the aftermath of motorcycle accidents. New Jersey, in particular, witnesses thousands of cases where people are injured in collisions due to the actions of other drivers. While motorcyclists often do wear helmets and other protective gear to ensure their safety in accidents, they are still at an increased risk of suffering serious injuries as a result of accidents.

Even though most people believe that motorcyclists are reckless, the overwhelming majority of motorcycle collisions occur as a result of other drivers who follow too closely, change lanes without checking, and exhibit reckless and negligent behavior. These and other negligent actions continue to cause harm to innocent people sharing the road.

The injuries suffered by motorcyclists are often catastrophic, causing overwhelming mental and physical pain and suffering. Many victims require hospitalization and undergo surgery, with treatment costs easily costing more than $100,000. It is unfair to think that motorcyclists should bear the financial burden of these expenses resulting from another person’s actions. For this reason, New Jersey offers victims various legal avenues to seek compensation from those at fault. By consulting a motorcycle accident attorney in Newark, victims can protect their legal rights and explore the available legal options to pursue justice.
