Motorcycle Accidents in New Jersey
In New Jersey, there are over 2,500 motorcycle accidents reported annually. Drivers exceeding the legal drinking limit are involved in around one-fourth of fatal motorcycle crashes in the Garden State, and speeding drivers account for about one-third of related crashes. According to statistics, motorcycle riders are nearly 26 times more likely to die in an accident. Even worse is that over 80 percent of motorbike accidents result in fatalities or serious injuries. When sharing the road with other drivers, motorcyclists are especially vulnerable, and the resulting injuries and other consequences can be much more serious.
