Medford, NJ – Child Injured in Bicycle Crash at Wakefield Dr & Taisley Ct

Medford, NJ (September 24, 2024) – On Sunday, September 22, a child was hurt while riding an electric bike in the Medford area. The incident took place at the corner of Wakefield Drive and Taisley Court early that morning around 9:55 a.m. Local reports revealed that a 2016 Honda Civic was headed east on Wakefield when it hit the victim. 

The eight-year-old rider was ejected from the bike. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene, and the injured cyclist was transported by ambulance to Cooper Hospital for treatment. The victim reportedly suffered multiple leg fractures. The area was temporarily closed while emergency responders were present. No updates on the incident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
