Lacey, NJ – Motorcyclist Hurt in SUV Crash on Lacey Rd
Lacey, NJ (May 27, 2024) – On Sunday, May 26, a motorcyclist was hurt after a two-vehicle collision in the Lacey area. The accident was reported on Lacey Road early that morning around 11:18 a.m. It was reported that the victim was traveling westbound in a 2018 Kawasaki VN9 when he collided with a 2021 Toyota Sienna minivan.
It was later revealed that the 83-year-old Ocean Township man driving the Toyota was making a left turn onto the roadway from JT’s Bagel Hut parking lot at the time of the crash. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid. The 66-year-old man riding the motorcycle was transported by ambulance to Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune for the treatment of sustained injuries. No additional information on the incident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
