Howell Twp, NJ – Injuries In Fatal Cement Truck Crash On NJ-33

Howell Twp, NJ (April 3, 2024) – A woman was killed and another person was injured following a two-vehicle collision in the area of Howell Township on Tuesday, March 2. The deadly crash was reported on NJ-33 early that morning near W. Renaissance Boulevard. Local reports indicated that a Mazda and a concrete mixer truck collided at the scene.

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. The driver of the Mazda, later identified as a 54-year-old Canadian woman, crossed the centerline and collided head-on with the oncoming truck. The driver suffered fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead by attending medical personnel. The driver of the truck was also hurt in the crash. No further information on the deadly collision is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
