Holmdel, NJ – Bicyclist Dies in Crash at Bethany Rd & Galway Dr

Holmdel, NJ (August 14, 2024) – There were fatal injuries after a bicycle accident in the Holmdel area on Monday, August 12. The fatal crash occurred at the corner of Bethany Road and Galway Drive early that morning, around 8 a.m. Local reports revealed that a bicycle and a motor vehicle collided at the scene. 

The rider was later identified as a 65-year-old Holmdel man. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Despite life-saving measures, the injured rider sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials.
