Hamilton, NJ – One Killed, Five Hurt In Crash On Black Horse Pike

Hamilton, NJ (April 6, 2024) – One person died and five others were injured following a car accident in the Hamilton area on Wednesday, April 3. The collision was reported on Black Horse Pike near High Bank Road that afternoon around 2:15 p.m. Local reports revealed that three vehicles collided at the scene.

Local reports revealed that a Chevrolet Equinox driven by 30-year-old Stephen Sirch of Voorhees and a Honda Civic driven by 29-year-old Karina Castillo of Pine Hill collided at the scene. Both drivers were headed west when the crash occurred. After the initial impact, the Honda crossed the centerline and hit an oncoming Ford Fusion driven by driven by 40-year-old Diana Hernandez-Ramos of Hammonton. Castillo suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sirch was hurt and transported by ambulance to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division for treatment. Hernandez-Ramos and two adult passengers were injured and transferred to ARMC-City. A juvenile passenger who was injured was transported to Cooper University Medical Center in Camden. The area was closed for several hours while emergency crews were present. No further information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is underway.
