Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq | Project Backpack

Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq was proud to present Project Backpack, a community initiative dedicated to supporting students with the tools they need to succeed. This year, we provided backpacks and essential school supplies to over 400 students at Greater Brunswick Charter School.

Our goal is to remove barriers to learning and ensure every student begins the school year prepared and confident.

The Project Backpack initiative was held in conjunction with the school’s Back to School BBQ, a community event where students and families can reconnect before the academic year begins.

The afternoon featured food and refreshments, games and activities for all games, such as haircuts, animal balloon making, chair massages, and of course, free backpacks. To sweeten the day, GGL also provided a Kona Ice truck, giving students and families a cool treat to enjoy in the summer heat.

Adding to the excitement, our friends at Rutgers Athletics generously donated over 1,000 tickets to the football season opener and 500 Rutgers magnets for students and families to enjoy.

In attendance were the firm’s three partners, William J. Garces, William N. Grabler, and Lawrence A. LeBrocq, who joined students, families, and staff in celebrating the start of the school year.

At GGL, we are deeply committed to supporting the communities we serve. Project Backpack reflects our belief that investing in education and providing resources to young learners strengthens the entire community. We were honored to partner with the Greater Brunswick Charter School in this important effort.
