East Windsor, NJ – Teen Bicyclist Seriously Hurt in Crash on Twin Rivers Dr
East Windsor, NJ (July 16, 2024) – A teenager was seriously injured after a bicycle-vehicle collision in the East Windsor area on Saturday, July 13. The crash took place on Twin Rivers Drive N. near Ithaca Place late that evening around 9:30 p.m. Local reports revealed that the 14-year-old rider was crossing Twin Rivers Drive when they were struck by a 2013 Toyota Tacoma.
The impact threw the rider off the bike. Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The victim was transported by ambulance to RWJ New Brunswick for the treatment of serious injuries. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No updates on the accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
