Cranbury, NJ – Several Hurt in Collision on NJ Tpke

Cranbury, NJ (August 6, 2024) – There were multiple injuries after a car accident in the Cranbury area on Monday, August 5. The collision was reported on the New Jersey Turnpike near mile marker 69.5 late that night, around 9:08 p.m. Two vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash. 

When emergency crews arrived at the scene, one vehicle was on its roof, and another was on fire. There were no immediate reports of entrapment. There were seven confirmed injuries at the scene. The involved parties were treated at the scene, and those requiring further support were hospitalized by ambulance. It is unknown how many victims required hospitalization at this time. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is in progress.
