Cherry Hill, NJ – Woman Dies in Pedestrian Crash at Haddonfield Rd & Chapel Ave

Cherry Hill, NJ (July 29, 2024) – There were fatal injuries in a pedestrian accident in the Cherry Hill area on Friday, July 26. The deadly accident took place at the corner of Haddonfield Road and Chapel Avenue late that night, around 11:10 p.m. A female pedestrian was traveling on foot when she was struck by an oncoming motor vehicle. 

Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide the necessary aid to the involved parties. All westbound lanes on the roadway were temporarily closed as local authorities worked the scene. The injured party sustained fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. The area was temporarily closed while emergency units were present. No further updates on the crash are currently available.
