Atlantic City, NJ – Bicyclist Loses Life in Car Crash on Montpelier Ave near Arctic Ave

Atlantic City, NJ (August 1, 2023) – A bicycle accident was reported on Sunday morning in the Atlantic City area that claimed one person’s life. At around 9:45 a.m. on July 30, the Atlantic City Police Department responded to a crash that occurred on Montpelier Avenue.

Reports from ACPD show that a 61-year-old man was riding a bicycle in the area of Montpelier Avenue near Arctic Avenue during the morning hours. For unknown reasons, they were struck by a vehicle.

The crash caused severe injuries to the bicyclist. The victim was rushed to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-City Division, where he passed away from his injuries.

At this time, the incident is being investigated.
