Trenton, NJ – Woman Killed, Two Hurt in Fiery Crash at Broad & Lalor St
Trenton, NJ (July 7, 2025) – A fiery car accident in the Trenton area on Saturday, July 5, ended in confirmed fatalities. The fatal crash was reported at the corner of S. Broad Street and Lalor Street that afternoon at around 12:30 p.m. It was reported that a 22-year-old man was headed east on S. Broad Street in a black BMW leading up to the crash.
It was then that a 51-year-old man driving a silver Toyota Tacoma pickup truck made a left turn onto Lalor Street. Both vehicles collided. The impact caused a passenger in the Tacoma, a 51-year-old woman, to be ejected. The truck then overturned before catching fire. Both vehicles came to a rest on the lawn of a church at the 500 block of South Broad Street.
The woman was transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center by ambulance, where she later succumbed to her injuries. The 51-year-old man and 22-year-old man were taken to the same hospital and treated for sustained injuries. No additional information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is in progress.
