Hoboken, NJ – High-Rise Construction Site Incident with Injuries at Observer Hwy

Hoboken, NJ (February 13, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Thursday, February 12, at approximately 10:45 a.m., to a construction site incident that left two workers injured at 111 Observer Highway, near the intersection of Newark Street and Observer Highway.

Initial reports indicate the event involved a partial building collapse at the site of a new 28-story residential high-rise. Two workers were injured while working at the site and were lowered to the ground by Hoboken firefighters as part of the rescue operation.
