Upper Freehold Twp, NJ – Woman Dies in Tractor-Trailer Crash on CR 539
Upper Freehold Township, NJ (July 13, 2024) – On Wednesday, July 10, a woman was killed after a crash involving a tractor-trailer in the area of Upper Freehold Township. The deadly collision was reported on County Road 539 early that morning around 11 a.m. Local reports revealed that 21-year-old Carla Rinconrumay of Trenton was traveling northbound in a car as the tractor-trailer was headed south.
The front of the truck hit the right side of the vehicle near mile marker 39.2. The impact caused both vehicles to leave the roadway, crash into an embankment, and hit a utility pole. Rinconrumay was pronounced dead at the scene by attending medical personnel. The 25-year-old Allentown man driving the truck was also injured in the crash and he was taken to a nearby medical facility for additional treatment.
