Roseland, NJ – Officer Hurt in Bus Crash at Livingston Ave & Becker Farm Rd
Roseland, NJ (June 23, 2025) – An officer with the New Jersey State Police was seriously injured after a crash in the Roseland area on Friday, June 20. The incident took place at the corner of Livingston Avenue and Becker Farm Road at around 4 p.m. Footage from the scene showed a seriously damaged police vehicle and a New Jersey Transit bus.
Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. An injured police officer was rushed to the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) by ambulance for treatment of sustained injuries. It is unknown if anyone on board the bus was hurt as a result of the crash. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities worked the scene. No additional information on the collision is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
