Rockaway, NJ – Two Hurt in Pileup Semi-Truck Crash on Rte 80
Rockaway, NJ (March 29, 2025) – Two people were injured after a multi-vehicle crash involving a commercial truck and a dump truck in the Rockaway area on Friday, March 28. The incident took place on Route 80 near mile marker 35.2 early that morning at around 7:30 a.m. All lanes were closed as a result of the crash.
Local reports revealed that the accident resulted as traffic slowed on the highway and a tractor-trailer hit the back of a dump truck. A total of six vehicles were involved in the impact. Two men were ejected from the dump truck, and both suffered serious injuries.
