Bloomfield, NJ (September 11, 2026) – A resident was injured on Wednesday morning, September 9, after a fire broke out in a home on Broad Street, leaving the house unable to be lived in.
The fire was reported around 1 a.m. on the 800 block of Broad Street. Emergency units arrived to find flames on the second floor that had spread into the attic.
The person inside self-evacuated before crews arrived and suffered a minor burn. They were taken to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston for treatment.
