Newark, NJ – Motorcyclist Hurt in Car Crash on Bloomfield Ave near Garside St

Newark, NJ (June 18, 2023) – A motorcyclist was left with serious injuries as a result of a crash that occurred in the North Ward of New York during the early morning hours on Sunday, June 18.

At approximately 12:15 a.m., the police and firefighters were called to the scene of a crash on Bloomfield Avenue.

Reports from authorities indicate that a motorcyclist was involved in a collision with an unknown number of vehicles and Bloomfield Avenue near the intersection of Garside Street. Authorities arrived at the scene and located the motorcyclist on the ground with significant injuries.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital for emergency treatment. He remains at University Hospital in critical condition.

At this time, the incident is being investigated by the Newark Police Department.
