N Bergen, NJ – Man Injured in Three-Car Crash at River Rd & 74th St
N Bergen, NJ (May 14, 2025) – There were serious injuries after a pileup crash in the North Bergen area on Monday, May 12. The accident took place at the corner of River Road and 74th Street that afternoon at around 2 p.m. Three vehicles collided at the scene: a Nissan Altima, a BMW X3, and a Lexus GX4.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. A 59-year-old North Bergen man was driving the Nissan, and he was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center for the treatment of serious injuries. The driver of the BMW, a 28-year-old West New York woman, was taken by ambulance to Palisades Medical Center for treatment. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities were present. No further information on the crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
