Marlboro, NJ (May 29, 2025) – One person was killed and two were injured after a single-vehicle crash in the area of Marlboro Township on Wednesday, May 28. The deadly accident took place on Route 18 NB just south of Exit 29 early that morning at around 5 a.m. It was later revealed that a man was driving a 2014 Mercedes headed northbound when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. A front-seat passenger suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene at around 5:41 a.m. The driver and a male back-seat passenger were transported to a local hospital by ambulance for the treatment of sustained injuries. The identities of the involved parties have been withheld. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities assisted at the scene. No further information on the deadly crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the collision is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
