Manchester, NJ – Driver Killed in Head-on Collision on Rte 539
Manchester, NJ (June 21, 2025) – There were fatal injuries reported after an auto accident in the Manchester area on Thursday, June 19. The deadly crash took place on Route 539 near mile marker 26.5 that afternoon at around 1:15 p.m. A 77-year-old man was driving a pickup truck when he collided with another vehicle.
The impact caused the truck to veer off the road, where it hit a tree. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The 77-year-old man suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The 55-year-old man driving the other truck was not hurt. His passenger, a 39-year-old man, was hurt.
