Jackson, NJ – Two Killed, Others Hurt in Fiery Crash on Hope Chapel Rd
Jackson, NJ (May 24, 2025) – Two were killed and others were injured after a car accident in the Jackson area on Friday, May 23. The fatal accident took place on Hope Chapel Road North near New Central Avenue early that morning. Local reports revealed that one of the vehicles involved caught fire as a result of the crash.
The circumstances leading to the incident have not yet been determined. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to render aid to the involved parties. All five victims involved were later identified as teenagers from the Jackson-Lakewood area. Four people were trapped inside the fiery vehicle and extricated by attending emergency units. Two people sustained fatal injuries and were later pronounced dead. The other injured parties were hospitalized for further treatment. The area was temporarily closed as local authorities worked the scene. No updates on the incident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
