Hit-and-Run Kills Man, Leaves Another Critical on Rte 33 in East Windsor, NJ

East Windsor, NJ (August 10, 2026) – A 37-year-old man was killed after a vehicle struck him late Sunday night, August 9, at Route 33 and Probasco Road in East Windsor. A 21-year-old man was also hurt when the vehicle struck both pedestrians, and the driver left the area afterward.

The injured 21-year-old man was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition.

Police later located and arrested Herman J. Santos-Morales in connection with the crash. He faces multiple charges, including leaving the scene of a personal injury accident involving a death and leaving while driving with a suspended or revoked license.

The investigation remains ongoing.
