Hasbrouck Hts., NJ – One Killed, Several Hurt in Crash on Rte 17

Hasbrouck Heights, NJ (March 7, 2025) – One person was killed and several others were injured after a multi-vehicle collision took place in Hasbrouck Heights on March 6. The deadly crash occurred on Route 17 near Franklin Avenue, near the McDonald’s and Costco, late that night at around 6:20 p.m. Four vehicles reportedly collided at the scene.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. One person involved in the crash suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Several other parties involved were hurt and transported to local hospitals by ambulance for treatment. There were multiple damaged vehicles in the median, including a truck, and the area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present.
