Glassboro, NJ – Two Teens Killed in Collision on Rte 55

Glassboro, NJ (March 10, 2025) – On Sunday, March 9, two teenagers were killed after a car accident in the Glassboro area. The fatal accident took place on Route 55 NB in Gloucester County near Exit 48 at around 4:15 p.m. It was reported that Brenden Cary was driving a Honda passenger car that hit the left rear corner of another Honda CRV traveling in the right lane.
The impact caused Cary to lose control of the vehicle, cross the right lane and onto the shoulder where it collided with a disabled Dodge minivan stopped on the road. The Dodge overturned, and three juveniles inside were treated for injuries. The 36-year-old woman driving the minivan was seriously injured. A 17-year-old passenger in the Honda was also seriously hurt. Local reports indicated that a total of eight people were injured in the impact, with some in critical condition. Cary and 19-year-old Dominic Reyes were killed in the collision. No additional information on the accident is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local law enforcement officials.
