Pedestrian Accidents in New Jersey
Pedestrian safety is becoming increasingly important as the number of deadly pedestrian crashes that happen in New Jersey each year continues to grow. It was projected that there were roughly 8,000 pedestrian fatalities on American roadways in 2021. This translates to one death every 66 minutes on average. Sharing the road with a large car is far from safe as a pedestrian. An estimated 100,000 emergency room visits are attributed to pedestrian-related incidents on average, with pedestrians accounting for nearly one out of every six collision fatalities in 2021. Your chances of suffering severe or even fatal injuries in an accident as a pedestrian are considerably higher. In order to maximize their compensation, families that want to file a wrongful death claim successfully need to work with a knowledgeable lawyer.
