Egg Harbor City, NJ – Motorcyclist Dies in Accident on Rte 30
Egg Harbor City, NJ (February 9, 2025) – On Friday, February 7, a motorcyclist was killed after a two-vehicle crash in Egg Harbor City. The deadly accident took place on Route 30 near Cincinnati Avenue late that evening around 6:30 p.m. It was later revealed that 57-year-old Louis Hilton, Jr. of Galloway Township was riding a motorcycle and was traveling westbound on a bike when he was struck by a driver making a left turn at the intersection.
Emergency crews were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Hilton was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center-Mainland Campus in critical condition where he was later pronounced dead. The other driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities worked to clear the scene. No updates on the deadly crash are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
