E Rutherford, NJ – Driver Killed in Semi-Truck Crash on NJ Tpke
E Rutherford, NJ (March 20, 2025) – On Wednesday, March 19, a driver was killed after a two-vehicle collision in the E. Rutherford area. The deadly accident took place on the New Jersey Turnpike near mile marker 113.6 early that morning at around 3:35 a.m. It was later revealed that the driver of a BMW collided with an International tractor-trailer.
Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The driver of the BMW sustained fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The identity of the deceased was revealed as 28-year-old Rasheed Folaji of Irvington. No other injuries were reported in the impact. The area was temporarily closed while emergency personnel were present. No additional information on the fatal collision is currently available.
