DUI Collisions in New Jersey
Among the riskiest things we can do is drive after drinking. According to statistics, drunk drivers are involved in approximately 28 percent of fatal crashes in New Jersey on weekends, while this percentage is just 15% percent in fatal accidents during the week. A driver with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or higher is involved in over 20 percent of traffic deaths in the Garden State, with one death occurring every 48 minutes on average. After consuming one drink too much, drivers should be held accountable in the case of a serious incident since they pose an active threat to everyone on the road.
