Atlantic City, NJ – Child Hurt in Pedestrian Crash on Fairmount Ave

Atlantic City, NJ (October 6, 2024) – On Friday, October 4, a child was hurt after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Altantic City area. The pedestrian accident took place at the 2600 block of Fairmount Avenue at around 5:48 p.m. The victim was traveling on foot when they were struck.
Emergency responders were rushed to the scene to provide aid to the injured party. The juvenile was airlifted to Cooper Hopsital for the treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The driver involved in the impact remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. The area was temporarily closed while local authorities were present.
