Personal Injury Attorney Ashley C. Jemison, Esq.
Ashley C. Jemison, Esq. is a Philadelphia native born to Jamaican parents, whose passion for advocacy and commitment to justice have shaped her career as an attorney. Ashley’s journey into law began in childhood, as her mother nurtured her skills in reading and writing with a unique regimen: before enjoying the freedoms of summer, Ashley would visit the local library to select novels, read them, and prepare detailed reports for her mother’s review. While these exercises were simply routine at the time, they sparked a foundation in critical thinking, communication, and empathy that Ashley would later channel into a career dedicated to representing and defending others.
Ashley earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Penn State University and her Juris Doctor from Widener University Commonwealth Law School, where she received a merit scholarship, the Clarence “Chuck” Patterson Scholarship, and a Public Service Award. During law school, she also served as an extern with the Federal Public Defender’s Office. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
Ashley’s legal experience spans both sides of civil litigation. Before dedicating her practice to representing injured individuals, she defended tort claims on behalf of the State of New Jersey and later worked on federal claims arising from the Camp Lejeune water contamination litigation. As a plaintiffs’ personal injury attorney, Ashley has handled a substantial caseload of matters involving motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, dog bites, and other serious injuries. Her advocacy has contributed to millions of dollars in recoveries for injured clients, including six-figure resolutions in complex premises-liability and automobile cases.
For Ashley, the most rewarding part of practicing law is the opportunity to lay the groundwork for the justice her clients deserve. She approaches each case with the belief that strong advocacy begins long before a courtroom appearance or settlement negotiation. It begins with careful preparation, compelling storytelling, and an unwavering willingness to advocate for the person behind the case.
