2 Killed in Head-On Crash on Rte 50 in Mays Landing, NJ

Mays Landing, NJ (August 22, 2026) – Two people were killed in a head-on collision near Route 50 and Third Street in Mays Landing on Saturday, August 22. The wreck occurred around 7:30 a.m.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office reported that a stolen vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and struck another vehicle head-on. The driver and passenger in the second vehicle were killed.

An adult and three juveniles who were inside the stolen vehicle were charged following the crash. Additional details about the charges have not been released.
