Atlantic City, NJ (June 28, 2026) – A BMW M2 hit the back of a dirt bike on Thursday, June 25, on Route 40 East near 1600 North Albany Avenue in Atlantic City. The crash happened around 9:42 p.m.

Officials arrived after the crash and found two people on the dirt bike with fatal injuries. The dirt bike operator, Baseem Taliaferro Jr., 21, of Galloway, and his passenger, Yasmeen Williams, 21, of Egg Harbor City, both died at the scene.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office identified the BMW driver after the crash. Investigators have not said whether the driver will face charges.
