Monroe, NJ (May 25, 2026) – A 43-year-old man lost his life on Saturday evening, May 23, after two cars collided head-on along Lakes Road at about 7:14 p.m. A 2019 Toyota was traveling southbound when it crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2025 Subaru.
The driver of the Subaru, identified as Daryl Baker, 43, of Monroe, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Toyota, a 61-year-old Monroe man identified as Robert Molina, was taken to Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown in critical condition.
Investigators are still reviewing the wreck.
