Medford Lakes, NJ – Man Killed in Collision with Verizon Truck on Tuckerton Rd

Medford Lakes, NJ (December 24, 2025) – On Tuesday morning, December 23, a motor vehicle crash claimed the life of an elderly man in Medford Lakes.

According to local authorities, police responded to the intersection of Tuckerton Road and Lenape Trail shortly before 10:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a serious collision involving a passenger vehicle and a Verizon truck. Upon arrival, officers found an 83-year-old Medford Lakes man suffering from fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.

According to a statement from the Medford Lakes Police Department, the victim was attempting to turn east onto Tuckerton Road from Lenape Trail when his vehicle was struck by a Verizon truck traveling westbound on Tuckerton Road. The driver of the truck, a 65-year-old resident of Evesham Township, sustained minor injuries and remained at the scene following the crash.
