Hopewell Twp, NJ – One Killed in Semi-Truck Crash on Rte 31
Hopewell Twp, NJ (May 28, 2025) – A two-vehicle collision in Hopewell Township ended in fatal injuries on Tuesday, May 27. The deadly crash took place on Route 31 near Titus Mill Road and Hopewell Pennington Road that afternoon at around 12:30 p.m. Local reports revealed that a semi-truck and a Honda Civic collided head-on at the scene.
It was later revealed that the driver of the Honda left the southbound lane of Route 31 before colliding with the tractor-trailer. There were three occupants in the Honda: a driver and two passengers. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. Despite life-saving aid from responding officials, an occupant of the Honda sustained fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The two other occupants were reported in serious condition. No updates on the deadly accident are currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
