Hope Twp, NJ – Two Hurt in Head-on Collision on CR 521
Hope Twp, NJ (April 6, 2025) – There were serious injuries reported after a traffic accident in Hope Township on Thursday, April 3. The collision took place on County Road 521 near mile marker 1.4 at around 5:57 p.m. Local reports revealed that 34-year-old Sarah Slack of Blairstown Township was traveling southbound on the roadway in a 2014 Honda passenger car when she crossed the center line for unknown reasons.
The Honda collided head-on with a northbound Kenworth tractor-trailer driven by 58-year-old Keith Delman, also from Blairstown Township. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide aid to the involved parties. Slack sustained serious injuries and was rushed to a local hospital by ambulance for treatment. Delman was also hurt as a result of the collision. The area was temporarily closed while local officials were present. No further information on the incident is currently available. However, an ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
