Personal Injury Attorney Richard J. Isolde, Esq.

Richard J. Isolde is a Certified Civil Trial Attorney at Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq, representing plaintiffs in personal injury and civil litigation. He has actively litigated cases in every county in the state of New Jersey and numerous counties across New York.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Richard worked three years as a management consultant for Accenture, LLP. As an attorney, he began his legal career representing mostly the defense side, representing insurance companies in matters involving environmental, construction, products liability, premises liability, and automobile injury claims. During his time defending insurers, Richard saw firsthand that individuals were not always treated fairly by insurance companies. Driven by a strong belief in personal liberty and the need to protect the individual, he made the decision in 2017 to shift his practice entirely to representing injured victims.

Since transitioning to plaintiffs’ work, Richard has successfully litigated hundreds of cases to favorable settlements and verdicts, resulting in millions of dollars recovered for injured individuals. He leverages his extensive insider knowledge of the insurance industry to hold defendants accountable when they violate basic safety rules and needlessly endanger the public. His focus is to make companies accountable and to ensure that dangerous choices have real consequences.

Experienced in all phases of civil litigation from intake through jury verdict and appeal. I regularly conduct complex depositions, evidentiary hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. Client First Philosophy

My philosophy is simple: insurance companies are not in the business of fairness; they are in the business of keeping their money. I give my clients the straight, unvarnished truth about their cases—no false promises. My job is to level the playing field against corporate rule-breakers who needlessly endanger the public. I prepare every single case for trial from day one, because the only language the defense respects is the very real threat of a jury holding them fully accountable.

Why Clients Choose Richard

Clients choose me because I know the enemy’s playbook. Having spent the early part of my career defending insurance companies, I know exactly how they evaluate, delay, and attempt to devalue claims. I don’t let them get away with it. As a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, I have a demonstrated record of taking cases to verdict. When defendants and their adjusters realize they can’t bluff us and that we are ready to enforce community safety rules in front of a jury, they are forced to pay what my clients actually deserve.

Beyond the Office

When I’m not battling insurance companies in the courtroom, my priority is family. You can usually find me at the ice rink or the river, supporting my son Anthony’s travel hockey and crew teams. I enjoy watching the Giants, Yankees, and New Jersey Devils.

Frequently Asked Questions

Every client wants to know what their case is worth. I tell them the truth: any lawyer who guarantees a specific outcome on day one is lying to you. I don’t guarantee outcomes; I guarantee a process. I guarantee that I will give my best effort to prepare your case for trial from the start and aggressively pursue the maximum possible recovery.
