Pedestrian Accidents in New Jersey

Each year, accidents across the state of New Jersey leave tens of thousands of people injured. Accidents involving pedestrians are often far more severe than most other types of collisions. Pedestrians do not have any protection during crashes. As a result, they are more likely to suffer significant trauma.

The majority of pedestrian accidents that are reported in our state take place as a result of driver negligence. We see many innocent people hurt as a result of speeding motorists, drivers who are impaired, drivers who fail to yield, and drivers who are distracted. When motorists fail to operate their vehicles safely, they can cause severe harm to others.

Even though we have laws in place to protect their streams, we continue to see innocent people forced to deal with the overwhelming consequences of negligence. If you have been hurt as a result of a car crash, a pedestrian accident lawyer in Toms River can help you take legal action.
