Roxbury Township, NJ – Crash with Injuries Reported on I-80 near County Rd 631
Roxbury Township, NJ (May 28, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident took place in Roxbury Township on Thursday afternoon that resulted in confirmed injuries.
The police and firefighters out of Morris County responded to the scene of the crash at approximately 3:37 p.m. on May 25.
According to officials, vehicles collided on Interstate 80 just east of exit 28 four County Route 631. The incident blocked multiple lanes on the westbound side of the interstate.
The crash prompted emergency officials to shut down a portion of the roadway as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles from two of the left lanes of travel. Traffic disruptions were extensive, causing delays that lasted at least 20 minutes.
Injuries were confirmed due to this accident, and at least one person was transported to a local hospital, where they were provided medical care.
At this time, investigations into the crash are underway by the police in Roxbury Township.
