Old Bridge, NJ - Several Hurt in Fatal Crash at US-9 & Ferry Rd

Old Bridge, NJ (June 3, 2024) – On Sunday, June 2, several people were injured after a car accident in the Old Bridge area. The incident was reported at the intersection of US-9 and Ferry Road early that morning, around 1:05 a.m. Local reports indicated that at least two vehicles collided at the scene.

A Ford Mustang with four occupants and a BMW with one passenger were involved in the crash. Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to the scene to provide aid to the involved parties. The passenger of the BMW, 31-year-old Kristina Godich of Manalapan, suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The BMW driver was rushed to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in critical condition. The four occupants of the Mustang were transported to a local hospital for the treatment of sustained injuries. The circumstances leading to the incident have not yet been determined. The area was closed for several hours while local authorities worked to clear the scene. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
