Newark, NJ – One Injured In Two-Car Crash On 1st St

Newark, NJ (March 10, 2024) – On Friday, March 8, there were confirmed injuries after a two-vehicle accident in the Newark area. The collision occurred at the 200 block of 1st Street between 7th Avenue W. and 2nd Street late that night at around 11:55 p.m. The vehicles involved sustained significant damage in the impact.

Emergency crews were on the scene to render aid to the involved parties. One person had to be extricated from a car by attending officials. They were transported to University Hospital for treatment of sustained injuries.

Tow trucks were quickly dispatched to clear the vehicle from the scene. The circumstances leading to the crash have not yet been determined. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash is being handled by local authorities, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
