Pedestrian Crashes in New Jersey

New Brunswick, NJ - Pedestrian Hurt by Drunk Driver on Jersey AvePedestrian safety is a serious problem in New Jersey due to an increasing number of deadly pedestrian crashes each year. Approximately 8,000 pedestrian fatalities were predicted to occur on American roadways in 2021. This translates to one death every 66 minutes or so. Sharing the road with motor vehicles as a pedestrian is far from safe. Pedestrian crashes are thought to cause more than 100,000 ER visits annually, and in 2021, pedestrians accounted for approximately one in six fatalities in collisions. As a pedestrian, your chances of suffering severe or even fatal injuries in an accident are much higher. To maximize their recovery, families hoping to file a successful wrongful death claim need to work with a knowledgeable lawyer.
