Neptune Twp, NJ – Pedestrian Dies in Crash on NJ-66

Neptune Twp, NJ (December 13, 2024) – Two people were struck in a pedestrian accident in Neptune Township on Tuesday, December 10, resulting in fatal injuries. The deadly crash took place on NJ-66 late that night around 7:35 p.m. Local reports revealed that a male driving a 2021 Ford Transit van was traveling westbound on the highway when it hit a male and female pedestrian. 

Emergency responders were quickly dispatched to provide the necessary aid to the involved parties. The injured woman was transported to a local hospital in critical condition where she later succumbed to her injuries. The male victim was also hospitalized for treatment. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with responding officials. No further information on the deadly collision is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the incident is being managed by local law enforcement officials, and more updates will be provided as it continues.
