Morristown, NJ – Woman Hit By Morris & Essex Train Line

Morristown, NJ (May 5, 2024) – On Saturday, May 4, a woman was killed after being hit by a motor vehicle in the Morristown area. The deadly crash involved a Morris & Essex train line late that evening around 7:25 p.m. Emergency crews were quickly dispatched to provide the necessary aid at the scene.

The injured party was treated at the scene before being rushed to a local hospital for additional support. The 6936 train was reportedly en route to Penn Station in New York from Dover, DE. No updates on the condition of the injured party have been provided at this time. The area was temporarily closed while emergency crews were present, and the train was cancelled as a result of the crash. No further information on the incident is currently available. Local law enforcement officials are handling the ongoing investigation into the cause of the crash.
