Morris Township, NJ – One Killed in Car Crash on Southgate Parkway

Morris Township, NJ (February 3, 2023) – A traffic accident took place in Morris Township on Wednesday evening that claimed one person’s life. February 1, authorities were called to the scene of a traffic crash on Southgate Parkway.

According to law enforcement, a collision took place on Southgate Parkway at around 11:15 p.m. One of the involved vehicles burst into flames after the accident.

Firefighters arrived at the scene and immediately extinguished the fire.

One person inside the vehicle was severely hurt. Authorities remove the victim to render aid. However, they were pronounced deceased as a result of the injuries they suffered.

No one else suffered injuries as a result of this accident.

The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated by the Morris County prosecutor’s office.
