Car Accidents in New Jersey

Every year, New Jersey witnesses tens of thousands of crashes, many of which occur due to negligence. Reckless actions by drivers behind the wheel often result in severe injuries to innocent victims. Among the most common factors contributing to traffic accidents in our state is the violation of red lights. According to AAA statistics, approximately 28% of intersection accidents stem from drivers running red lights.

Various reasons cause drivers to run red lights. Some may be in a rush and mistakenly believe that they can make it through the intersection before the light changes. Others may be distracted and unintentionally pass through the red light. Impaired drivers can have their judgment and reaction time compromised, which can also increase the chances of them running red lights. Regardless of the cause, running a red light poses a significant danger to other drivers on the road. In addition to running red lights, we often see automobile accidents occur as a result of drivers who switch lanes recklessly, enter roadways without yielding, and even experience malfunctions in their brakes and other auto failures.
