Jackson Township, NJ – Auto Accident with Injuries Reported on S New Prospect Rd & Aldrich Rd

Jackson Township, NJ (February 18, 2023) – A major motor vehicle accident was reported late Friday evening in Jackson County that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.

On February 17, the New Jersey State Police and firefighters were called to provide assistance on-site at a crash on South New Prospect Road.

Reports show that at around 10:00 p.m., a white SUV and a red SUV collided on South New Prospect Road at the intersection of Aldrich Road. The impact of the crash sent the red SUV crashing into a pole.

One person sustained injuries to the head. An unknown number of additional people also suffered injuries in the crash.

Medical personnel rushed with EMS Coordinator Car 24 and Howell Township EMS to the crash site to provide care to the injured victims. EMS then transported the injured parties to area hospitals.

The police department is currently investigating the accident.
